Hi managers
I have checked the archive, someone has already asked this question, but I
could not
find any reply's
In my daemon.log, I am receiving the following error message's
Synchronisation is lost
two instances of default interface for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx in hash table
I have used xntpd and ntpq, and the host in question is showing up twice
when I issue a lopeers and/or lpeers command.
The entry has also at times disappeared, but seems to reappear when I get a
"synchronisation is lost" message.
The two systems in question are members within a cluster, and their ntp.conf
files are virtually identical, except
that they refrence each other.
Also at one time we had a crash, and I am sure (but not positive) that the
message "two instances ...." was showing
up on the other host, it appears to have moved from one system to another.
Any pointers, comments would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Darren
