We have an Alphaserver 1000 4/200 running 4.0G. For a couple of weeks it
was complaining that its swap space was too low even though when I looked
at swapon -s it seemed fine (1.5 Gigs of swap with 512MB of memory). I
began to suspect the drive the swap was on was bad. So I added another 4
Gig drive, made 2 gigs of it available for swap and remove the bad drive
from the system.
Now I am getting this in my messages log and the system is locking up and
crashing. I can't figure which SCSI its complaining about, so I'm not
sure what to do to. Should I simply suspect the 4gig drive is bad? Any
ideas are appreciated.
