Hello All,

I have an Alpha PC _164LX_ running Tru64 Unix v5.1 and I am considering
getting an Alpha PC _164_ motherboard/CPU and putting together a disaster
recovery system.

Does anyone run an Alpha PC 164 under Tru64 Unix v5.Xx?
Any advice regarding these systems such as;
   type of memory to buy?
   maximum amount of memory (assuming Tru64 OS)?
   video adapters that work well?
   ethernet adapters that work well?
   compatible SCSI cards?

Thanks,
Ed Notari

PS,
>From pictures I have seen, if they are correct, there appears to be 8 slots
for memory on the PC 164 MoBo, whereas my PC 164LX has 4 slots for memory.
Thus, on the PC 164LX I can get 4x256MB of RAM. Not sure about the PC
164... Thoughts...
