Hi,
below it's listed a little-great problem that affected my computer...
The solution was:
in TruCluster you need to pay attention to /etc/clua_services file
where cluster members are declared to have an alias name or a
machine name.
So i solved my problem giving out_alias to the domain service of node 1.
I had another problem with clua_services:
i couldn't send mail by nodes 1, 2 and 3 and i solved my problem setting
out_alias
the smtp service.
I hope this info were useful for someone.
Bye, Fedele

Subject: AlphaServerSC - cluster problem

Hi to all,
i've a problem with my AlphaServerSC, it's a 4 nodes ES40 TruCluster system.
It's configured so that nodes 0, 1 and 2 have vote 1 and quorum is 2.
Normally all it's ok and i can connect to every nodes in the cluster
... but when node 0 goes down, then i can't connect to node 1, but only on
node 2 and 3.
Connections on node 1 seems to be "authenticating" in the sense that i have
login and password prompt
and the system give also line about successful login and unsuccessful login,
but not any more!!
I can connect to node 1 by rsh to see the login process working...
and when i startup node0 all it's OK again.
Any idea?
Fedele
