The command that we are using in our backup script is vdump -0 -x8 -u -N
/fileset_clone. Since we started do backups this way.

Subject: Tape drive.
Tru64 Unix Managers,
I have a gs140 running 4.0F, patchkit #4 with a TZ89 tape drive and
a TL892 autochanger using Quantum DLT4 70gb tapes for backups. Our backup
procedure is to kick-off all of the users create clone sets and backup the
clones with vdump. Our backups normally take about 4 hours to complete, yet
for the past 2 day's it has taken well over 4 hours to backup. Has anyone
experienced this before or know what could be going on?
TIA,
Chris Bryant
