MORE STUFF ON: Trying to find cause of system crash...

the popular opinion is that it is a hardware problem for sure. My
binary.errlog file had been corrupted, so it gave no info. I got rid of it
and am waiting for the condition to occurr again. The best and most popular
explaination is that it is either a thermal CPU or RAM problem caused by
little or no air circulation in the enclosure.

The next logical question is this: What types of memory will work with the
board in a 255/233 Alpha system? By types, I mean standard types; EDO
simms, FPM simms, ECC (i'm sure they'll work), something special? I realize
this is a hardware question, but it is one that is directly related to the
performance of Tru64 on a DEC machine, so I'm hoping you'll overlook my
trangression ;-)
