All,
Thanks for the quick responses (10 in 5 minutes)
Suggestions were from Tom Sevy, G.Hillbrandsm, Mike Whorley, Tony McEhill
and Jeffrey Spence + others that have come in as I write this!!!
Consensus is that from the console mode type (this is the most likely for me
as I can reboot the server at any time)
set ewa0 mode FastFD
Also apparently you can add speed 200 in the /etc/rc.config file for the
relevant card.
Also rcmgr can be used
Thanks again
Steve

Hi all,
I am trying to change the speed of one of our ethernet cards. Now I can do
this using the ifconfig command,
# ifconfig tu0 speed 200
but this change does not survive a reboot. How do you make this change
permanent? I have searched all the config files but can't find anything?
Thanks in advance
Steve Copper
