Hola Tru64 managers,
We have an Alphaserver with V4.0D. It has two ethernet interfaces which setup
in this way :
tu0 : 130.206.33.8 / 255.255.0.0
tu1 : 195.57.133.3 / 255.255.255.0
Also we have the following static routes :
130.206 130.206.33.8 tu0
195.57.133 195.57.133.3 tu1
default route tu0
When an packet is received on tu1 from an address different to 195.57.133.3
the reply packet is sent out via the defaul route which causes to change the
source address to 130.206.33.8
This means that the machine that sent the original packet wil receive an ACK
reply from a different IP than the first packet was sent, and the reply
packet is dropped.
Does anyone know how to tell to Tru64 :
"If a packect is received from 195.*.*.*, then send replies to the same
address"
Regards,
Eusebio
