Max passwd length

Hi Managers,


I need Help

my system

A) OS Tru64 5.1
B) Security C2 , enhancement
C) over 2000 users
D) password length 3 to 8
E) i need to change the length to be 3 to 20


PS : I tray to use template and it does not working i set it 3 to 20 , it is not working , i checked /etc/auth/system/default it is maxlen=20 but it is not working what i can do ?


any idea .....?
