What comes first?

A cluster-newbie question.

We have 2 new DS20E's which we want to set up as a cluster. They came with
Tru64 5.1 pre-installed. We have installed the Memory Channel cards and set
all the jumpers - before we've configured Tru64.

The Memory Channel documentation seems to say that we need to install
TruCluster before runnig the mc_cable and mc_diag commands. The TruCluster
documentation seems to say we need to have the hardware all set before
installing TruCluster.

So which way is it? Do we configure Tru64, install and configure TruCluster
then connect the cluster? Or do we leave the systems at the system prompt
and verify the cluster connections (mc_cable and mc_diag) then configure
Tru64 and install and configure TruCluster? Or do we configure Tru64, set
up the cluster hardware, then install and configure TruCluster?

To muddy the waters further - we want to have the cluster running off of our
Compaq SAN. Do we set that up at this point or wait until we have the
cluster up and configured?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
