All agreed that as long as I have 2 separate PCI
cages to connect the memory channel in between,
which is a requirement for server partitioning
anyway, I can do it. It is also supported by
Compaq.
However, they all cautioned that I shouldn't put
this in full production, since it doesn't meet
high availability requirements (in case you have
to take the whole cabinet down). Also, some
mention that this is a pretty expensive sandbox...
which I agree... but it will be nice to have. ;-)
