We are trying to come up with a "hostid" for Legato networker,
and Compaq recommends a composite of all IPs on all interfaces.
Problem with this is IPs tend to be changeable on the host,
over the long span of things, and so we've had to get new
networker licenses several times when nothing much really
changed except one interface, for instance. Is there really
_no_ other way to uniquely identify the server for Legato's
use? Host is an alphaserver 4100 running T64v4.0f.
