Hi Admins,
When bringing an ASE service ONLINE we are receiving the following error:
... Agent Notice: client process hung up during connect phase
This is a three node GS140 cluster and two of the nodes are using port 1021
and one node (the one we are having problems with) is using port 1022.
Compaq is telling us the port is hard coded in ASE and cannot be changed.
My question to Compaq was why it is running on a different port on only one
machine if it is hard coded but they have not responded with an answer yet
and are investigating with an escalation team. In the meantime I would like
to see if anybody on this list knows if this is true and if it isn't how to
force ASE on the one system to a different port?
