Hello, managers,
many thanks to A. Majendra Rajah, William H. Magill and Raul Sossa S. for
their replies, and before all to Bobby Dhaliwal who
had the perfect information for me:
I needed (as I assumed) version 2.3 of the software (see original message
below), and it can be found in
http://www.compaq.com/products/storageworks/array-and-scsi-controllers/KZPCCsoftware.html
(or
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/
storageworks/array-and-scsi-controllers/swcc/Agent)
I still have a problem with the graphical interface of the agent config
tool, which signals after whatever action I want to take
SIGSEGV 11* segmentation violation
si_signo [11]: SIGSEGV 11* segmentation violation
and then I can only cancel the job via ^C, but the non-graphical interface
(the same command /usr/sbin/KZPCCconfig , but with the qualifier -c) works.
I downloaded twice the client software from the same place, but it doesn't
install! The error message is: error installing ikernel.exe (there lies an
image called ikernel.ex, but even a rename does't help), so I'm running on
the client side with the old 2.2 software, but it works nevertheless. I can
configure my drives, my DS20e sees them and can use them - everything fine
now!
Thanks again!
Steffi
Original mail was:
Hello, managers,
we got a DS20 with Raid Array 2000. It was delivered with a CD "Compaq
Storage Works SWCC Kit V2.2 for Raid Array 2000".
I installed the agent software on my 5.1-Unix, but when I try to start it I
get the message
"...This is not a supported operating system".
So my question: where do I find the software for Unix 5.1? I already looked
on the Compaq Site, but I don't find it.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards, Steffi
