Odd problem -- GS160 and 320

Hi

Seeing an odd problem on a couple of GS's -- namely the console PC's... The
"<esc><esc>scm" sometimes is ignored -- i.e. the whole thing locks up and
you have to "turn the key" to free it. Since it is on multiple machines I
would not look at the PC as the issue -- setup? Firmware? Are there any
trouble shooting tools to figure this out (or techniques/tricks)
