Hi Managers !

I have at strange problem with print being lost. The printers are HP4050
printers using PostScript.
The printjobs seems to be printed OK (is removed from the spool system) but
the printer does not print the jobs.

The environment is Tru64 5.1, patch-kit 3 on ES40's (2x667Mhz EV6, 4Gb.
Memory).
The printers are connected using ISDN connections or through WAN.

Has anyone experienced similar problems ?

Some of the error messages in lpr.log :
lpd[70157]: INFO -- getport: connection refused -- will retry for up to 30
seconds, rhost x.x.x.x
lpd[815]: DEBUG -- select returned, nfds: -1, errno: 4, error text:
Interrupted system call
lpd[70342]: ERROR -- read_some_chars: read() failed, error: Connection reset
by peer
lpd[70342]: ERROR -- read_some_chars: read() failed, error: Connection reset
by peer
