I need to display euro currency both on tru64 unix v.40f ed windows 2000
I setup tru64 with nls it_IT.UTF-8 as LANG variable and en_EU.UTF-8_at_euro as LC_MONETARY variable.
I correctly dislay the currency, but if i try to copy file with € (euro) sign into windows and vice-versa, i'm not be able to display correctly this character.
I see that windows support code for c1252 in order to suport euro charact, and i see also that tru64 unix support 2 method to translate codeset (algorithmic and table).
I don't know how to use iconv or gentlx to support portability of native codeset from windows 2000 and tru64 unix v4.0f
Is there anyone that could help me.
