running a ds20e with no local disks

Greetings,

Well, I have the GS160 to DS20 swap this weekend and I just got the DS20s
in and powered up. I noticed that the DS20s have no local disks. Is this
going to be a problem? The systems will (should) boot from a SAN
(redundant fiber switches to redundant HSG80 controllers). The only thing
I am using the local disks on the GS160s for now are local swap drives. Do
I need local swap devices for any other reason than performance?

        Thanks,

        Paul
