Font problems with CDE

I have a 4.0d system that I/we connect up to via eXcursion to CDE. Whenever
I login I get the following error:

Couldn't open console
Warning: Cannot convert string "-dt-interface
user-medium-r-normal-s*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Cannot convert string "-dt-interface
user-medium-r-normal-s*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontSet
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Cannot convert string "-dt-interface
system-medium-r-normal-s*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontSet

The same thing happens when I run xemacs, except for the "Couldn't open
console" message.

I read of a similar problem in the archives and did some investigating. I
didn't have xfs running. I didn't even have a xfs executable in
/usr/bin/X11/. There was a fs that linked to the missing xfs. So, I copied
xfs from a 4.0f box; I would think they would be the same, the other
executables showed they were with diff. I tried to run it and it core
dumped. I looked in the config and sure enough, one of the directories of
fonts in the config was missing, so I copied that from the 4.0f box as well.
I still get these errors. I ran xfs with the following command:

xfs -port 7001 &

Do I need another parameter, or am I still missing fonts?

Thanks!
