Network dropping connection issue

Hello,
We have been experiencing a problem with losing network connectivity
on random tru64 systems in one of our data centers for a few months.
Essentially, Tru64 4.0f boxes losing their network connection. We are
waiting on an open call with Compaq for possible results, but I'm
annoyed by this and thought I would ask here.
Our resolution for the moment is to log into the system via terminal
server and doing an "rcinet restart" or stop then start. The systems
are connected to Cisco switches in this data center. Does anyone know
of an Alpha-Tru64/Cisco issue involving either ARP or RIP or something
else that would cause a possible loss of ARP cache on the network? Or
possibly a whole different reason for this?

Thanks,
