Hi gurus,
today I need your help to understand why my cluster is reacheble only
from the network it belongs to.

My Tru64 5.1 cluster is made of 2 members (one with 1 network interface
and the other with 2, all of the interfaces belonging to the same
network)

Usally I can reach the cluster using its alias name form any address of
the net.
Now a member of the cluster is down an I can reach the cluster alias
only from the same network it belongs to. Any access to the alias from
outside its network fails (not even ping works).
Accessing the cluster using the "surviving" member name works properly
from all over the net.

It seems very strange to me, is'nt it?

P.S. The installation of the cluster was exactely as written on the
guides, and I never had any networking problem up to now.

Any help will be very apreciated,
Thanks from Italy

Lele
