How to spin up disks?

Dear managers,

I got a problem with DEC Storage Extension box. It contains two RZ55
disks, which apparently cannot be set up to spin up automatically, but
need a spin-up SCSI-command. How can this be done at boot with Tru64
UNIX V5.1 or V4.0G apart from using "scu start" for the units?

Ideally, the SRM-console would send SCSI-start commands to the disks.
However, I cannot find any such variables or other settings in SRM
console - is it at all possible with SRM?
