Hi,
Sorry to bother you, but I have un update. The data files are not on raw
devices, only Oracle is using Direct I/O, some kind of OS bypassing I/O.
Thanks,

Subject: data corruption errors on Oracle
Hi,
On Tru64 v5.1 the Oracle DB is running with data files on raw devices. The
Oracle gives some data corruption errors like

There is nothing inside the messages file. Can it be possible that, because
the data files are positioned on raw devices, the errors are not in the
messages file? Or it doesn't matter, every read/write error should be in the
messages file? I am trying to isolate the cause for the error.
Thanks,
