A big thanx to Alex Harkema.
The answer is
>scu scan edt all
> scu show all
this displays a table of all the scsi devices and their bus, target and
lun info. This is the basis of a script to output the defect list for all
the devices but for now I will simply enter scu, change the nexus to
the required device and show the defects for each disk.

Hi Managers,

 DS10, tru64, 5.1.
 DEC 3000/400 tru64 4.0D

I want to do a scan of the SCSI bus(es) so I can work out what disk
is
residing on what bus and their target number. I have 2 disk
pedestals
attached to the DEC and 1 attached to the DS10. On the DEC the
disks
are a mixture of different sizes, on the DS10 they are all 36GB disk (
RZ1FC ). My plan has been to enter scu, do set nexus bus n tid n lun
n. then do show defects. I would then log the details and check the
defect list periodically to see if the disks are failing.

However at the moment all the disks come back as RZ28M (on the
DEC at least) and I am having trouble working out which disk is on
what bus and what target.

Can anyone tell me how I can get the bus and target info for these
disks?

Thanx.
Dp.
