Many thanks to Chris Loken for ...
Can you rsh between your machines as root? I had exactly this same
problem doing that patch last week. Had to modify /.rhosts to include
the *cluster_name* (i.e. in /etc/sysconfigtab) rather than the
individual names of the machines.
However, Just for fun,
I can rsh from cap007 to 8 as rsh cap008-mc0
and
I can rsh from cap008 to 7 as rsh cap007-mc0
But I can't run clu_upgrade switch :-(
cap007:root > clu_upgrade switch
This is the cluster upgrade program.
You have indicated that you want to perform the 'switch' stage of the
upgrade.
Do you want to continue to upgrade the cluster? [yes]:
Initiating version switch on cluster members
