Serious problem with a disk

  Hallo,
  Iam havinfg serious problem with a disk in an XP1000 Workstation.
  I can not read the label or mount the disk. The disk is configured
  with advanced file system. I see the following error in
  /var/adm/messages:

   cam_logger: CAM_ERROR packet

  Then disklabel -r gives the following message:
  ----------------------------------------------
disklabel: /dev/rrz1a: No such device or address

   Is it possible to recover datas from this disk with salvage utility.
   If it is yes, then how I have to proceed?The datas are important.

    Any help will be very much appreciated.
