First, thank you to Dr. Blinn, Mark Vallee, John Farmer and Alex Gorbachev
for their responses.

In short I will wait until I get to 5.1 to update the products listed once I
have verified they in fact require an upgrade also.
One comment I would like to pass along is :

"Do not use the Advanced file system utilities until I upgrade the product,
as it may cause corruption with my existing file domains."

As this is my first tru64 upgrade, I would like to thank the list, as I have
been watching the various summaries pass through
my mail box discussing the upgrade process and what and "what not" to do.

Original Question

I am on my way to upgrading to 5.1 and have successfully upgraded to 4.0g.

In the update log, I have the following list of layered products that may
need re-installation.

        Advanced File System Advanced Utilities
        CABASE
        CCATBASE
        CT5 Reader Tool
DSNlink V3.0 for Compaq Tru64 UNIX
        Legato NetWorker
        Perl Language V5.004_04
StorageWorks SWXCR Utility for Digital UNIX V1.2.3
StorageWorks RAID Array 200 Management Utility V1.2.1
        UniCensus
        Compaq WEBES Common Components V2.1
        Web-based Enterprise Service

Can I wait until I get to 5.1 to do the re-installation or should I do it at
the current rev (4.0g) ??

The ones I am most concerned about are the

ADVFS Advanced Utilities
Storageworks utilityies

Thank You

Darren
