I'm still trying to find a way to support long user names with Tru64 5.x.
The users I'm trying to authenticate are customers of an ISP that my client bought, and thus my needs are primarily to provide Radius, POP, and FTP authentication.
It does not seem the normal user accounts can handle long user names with Tru64. i.e. longer than 8 chars.
I don't know anything about LDAP, but I was wondering if it was worth looking into for the above?
