SUMMARY: TCS 5.1A + HSG80

Thanks to:

"ayman" <arayyan_at_dana.com.jo>
Who had a similar problem, but it then worked.

"Rochelle Lauer, Yale Univ Physics" <LAUER_at_hepmail.physics.yale.edu
Who has successfully built a 5.1A cluster with no problems.

Paul Henderson <Paul.G.Henderson_at_compaq.com>

Jim Kurtenbach <KurtenbachJ_at_crlcorp.com>
who referred me to an interesting note on MC2 problems in VMS Clusters,
which we had a look at, but didn't seem to be causing the problem.

A 5.1 cluster works fine. After a half dozen failed attempts at a 5.1A
cluster (updated firmware, different disks, etc.) we tried a 5.1 cluster
and it worked fine first time.

We haven't managed to solve this, and have logged a call with Compaq
about the issue. It might be something specific to our hardware
configuration and firmware levels.

As I get more details, I'll post a followup summary to the group.

regards,
gunther
