Re-enabling LSM

Hello -

I need to re-enable LSM on two systems running 4.0D PK8. Some time in the
past, someone removed the kernel configuration file pseudo-device
information that builds LSM into the kernel. I know two entries that must
be in the configuration file for LSM:

        pseudo-device lsm_ted 0
        pseudo-device lsm 1

There is a third pseudo-device entry that I have questions about:

       pseudo-device lv 2

What is this, and is it needed for LSM? One of the two systems I need to
re-enable LSM has the "lv" pseudo-device, and the other does not. All other
systems running LSM in our shop has this device, so I am presuming this is
needed?

Thanks,

Tom K.
