UPDATE: Error: no directory

Ok...got a few emails that had me try pretty much the same thing.
--All of the users' home directories are off of /devel and nobody else is having a problem.
--As root I can switch to /devel/passpt with no problems.
--If I su - passport, I get the "no directory" error, but if I just su passport I get in, and can successfully cd to /devel/passpt I was even able to create and delete files in this directory as the user passport.
--This directory is where a lot of software is stored (Passport, Xipc), and nobody is having problems running any of the software--so I don't think the filesystem is corrupt.
--Almost every user uses the /usr/bin/ksh shell (including me) and it is definitely there and functioning.
--I did a cat -v passwd |grep passport and made sure there were no unprintable characters in the line.

I think that was most of the suggestions so far....I'm sure it is some sort of permission thing, but I don't know if I can figure it out (especially at 5pm on a friday). Keep the suggestions coming. =)
