As part of a unix backup script I am writing for multiple versions of
Tru64 including 4.0d, 4.0g, 4.0f I have come accross an error while
attempting to execute gtar on a filesystem. Gtar version 1.13.17. When
executing a gtar -cvpf <filename> on the root filesystem. I receive
several error messages as follows. Should I be concerned, the job
completes and the file seems intact however I need to be sure exactly
what is happening. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
