FURTHER INFO: after upgrade from 5.1 to 5.1A, can't log into serial console

Hi-

I forgot to mention that the system is an AS1000A with two scsi cards. The serial console
stops 'working' after the listings for the *SECOND* scsi card (isp1). The storageworks
disks are all on the second scsi bus, while the cd, tape drive and any external drives are
hooked to the first scsi bus. The system boots off one of the storageworks drives

Although messages from the system indicate that console output *should* be going to
the serial console, in fact this is *NOT* the case.

This is so strange; what was the change between 5.1 and 5.1A to cause this?
