Admins,

We want to collect cms data for commands executed and their respective
cpu and real time minutes. I havn't done this yet but I'm curious as to
how the system will behave with a single process that runs for days at
a time.

For simplicities sake, take the following example.

After a user logs out, the dtgreet command is executed and a login screen
displayed. The cms accounting for that day reflects the fact the dtgreet
command was executed. CPU minutes and real time minutes are extremely
small. Another 24 hours expires and still no one has logged in. The cms
daily report for that 24 hour period does not contain any data for dtgreet.
I assume thats because the dtgreet command was executed once 48 hours ago
and were still waiting for someone to log in.

Now take this same concept to a heavy duty process that when executed
consumes 4 days worth of cpu. cms for day 1 records the fact the process
started. How will the system record the process for day 2, 3 and 4? Will I
be able to get this info in the daily cms report or should I be looking at
the montly reports?

Any info on would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
