Hello managers,
I've just upgraded a DS20E from Tru64 5.0A to 5.1 and thought that
in the process I would upgrade the WEBES suite from v2.1 to v4.0
(trying to get the system and patches as up to date as possible
before forming a cluster). I took the WEBES v4.0 kit from the June
2001 Compaq System Tools CD (AG-RJV3E-RE, came with the European
DECcampus release AU01) ... but after removing WEBESBASE210 and
extracting the WEBESBASE400 kit from the tar archive on the CD, the
setld installation fails with a verification error.
I've tried running the installation a couple of times now with
two different copies of the June Tools CD with the same result;
does anyone know if there is an installation issue that didn't
make it into the documentation, or is there just a bad kit on this
CD?
