On our 5.1A TruCluster system with 3 nodes, we'd like to designate one
of the nodes as the "interactive" node where all logins (telnet and
rlogin) are directed. We run ssh as a CAA service on the interactive
node and it works just fine.
I thought that by setting the "selp" and "rpri" parameters in the
/etc/clu_alias.config files, we can make the "interactive" node
preferentially answer all connection requests for our default alias.
After changing the clu_alias.config for all nodes, I ran
cluamgr -f
cluamgr -r start
on all of the nodes, thinking that this should reset alias routing for
the entire cluster. Unfortunately, we are still observing people logging
into the two "non-interactive" nodes. What am I doing wrong? Is this
approach anywhere close to correct? Any help is appreciated.
