SUMMARY: Panic due to disk block error?

Hi....

  The issue was that my 4.0D system panic'd, showing the cause being
a faulty block/cylinder match in a ufs filesystem.

  The replies stated that this was due to a error in the filesystem's
metadata, which a auto fsck on reboot fixed.
