Command to get Model Number

I'm going through my netgroup list trying to create a comprehensive
database of what equipment I have. Looking at a name, I'm able to
say "Menchik..., that's an Alpha workstation". Login in and doing a
uname (or looking at the motd), I can get the OS version. Short of
going and physically looking at the machine is there a command I can
use to find out what model machine I'm logged into?
