Thanks to Octave Orgeron's reply, here is the solution:
This is a tooltalk error, you need to have a ttsession
bound to your display. Type this before running dtpad:
/usr/dt/bin/ttsession -c
My original question is:
After entering the command dtpad file-name, the following error message
shows up:
ttdt_open failed: TT_ERR_PROCID The process id passed is not valid
I am using Hummingbird Exceed DECTerm to log into this UNIX.
