Hi managers,
after two day of reserch i have found the problem, i was obliged to modify the clu_upgrade to activate logs (because compaq guys redirected all std error to /dev/null).
the problem was due to the gnu tar. i have replaced the compaq tar with the gnu one, and sience clu_upgrade use tar command with -e option to make nackups and the gnu tar does not have the -e option and in the clu_upgrade the std error is rediected to /dev/null the script fails without any error.
i have restored the original tar and all worked fine
