df usage on UFS root partition

I'm running Tru64 v4.0G on two identically setup AS 200's. However, one
shows the root filesystem to have a usage of 53233 (46% capacity) and the
other shows 119335 (105% capacity).

I used df and ls and thoroughly examined the roots of both systems and
basically they both have the same disk usage, plus or minus a few kb.

Both have the same disklabels, /tmp is linked to /usr/tmp, they have the
same size kernel file, patch kit#2 installed, neither are using AdvFS. I
booted to single-user thinking that there might be a deleted file that was
still linked (as seen in several summary posts) at the OS level and it
still shows the 105% capacity. No CD's are mounted, same swap space, etc.
Both systems have an altroot partition which reflect the same usages of
their root partition - the / and /altroot are both at 105%. It's killing
me!

The main difference between the two systems is that one is our Primary DNS
and the other is a secondary. Both systems are streamlined and DNS is
it's sole purpose, no NFS, etc.

I can't find any clues why the one system has 66MB more usage on root than
the other.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
