question of HSZ22

hi managers,
    in former months i got a ra3000 shutdown twice( with power off for some days), both time when i restart the storage&hosts, i failed to form cluster.
    the reason is that the diskname of disks in HSZ22 automatically made a increment after power on, thus my Tru64 5.1A &cluster cannot seek data with former diskname.
    in these two shutdown i tried directly poweroff the storage and shutdown controller first both.
    do you have any idea how did it happen and what can i do to prevent it.
