5.1 severe performance problem (Oracle/Baan)

Hello,

We run BaanIVc4, Oracle 8.1.6 on an 4100 (2CPU, 1,5 GB RAM), 5.1.

The performance of the Oracle is OK. , I think the problem is Baan.

Does anybody else here run similar configuration, or are there rules-of-thumb for kernel/system tunning parameters to work from??
