How to restore root file system with LSM (followup)

   I asked earlier today:

   Is there a recommended/supported procedure for restoring the
   system disk (/, /usr and /var partitions) when they are all
   AdvFS under LSM control?

   I got definitive step-by-step instructions via a phone call
   from Compaq support. When I finish the tasks at hand and the
   system back to normal use, I will post the steps here.
