We have a 4100 running named 4.9.3 (named 4.9.3-P1-plus-CA-98.05-patches Sun
May 14 05:36:28 EDT 2000). I've been asked to locate a newer version of
named because we're getting messages that seem to be complaining about zone
transfers from win2k DNS machines. We're currently at 4.0G but will be
going to 5.1 (or 5.1A) very soon.
Questions:
=======
1. is there a newer version of named available
2. if so -- where? or does it come with the operating system?
3. if so -- are pre-compiled binaries available
4. are there different version for 4.0G and 5.1 (or 5.1A)
