I/O error on 5.1A PK1 upgraded AS

Hi,

Here's another problem we're having with our 4100 that we upgraded to 5.1A
Pk1 (from 4.0E via 4.0G and 5.1).

whenever I try to save a file with vi I get this message:

"a.b" [New file] I/O error [Warning - a.b is incomplete]

I can 'touch' a file but I can't save it with vi or emacs.

Our filesystems are AdvFS. I didn't recreate the domains in 5.1. I plan on
doing that later but my understanding is that it's not necessary -- do I
need to do something with AdvFS? some utility?
