Colleagues,
Our development team are having some difficulty with Progress V9.1C on Tru64
V5.1 PK3, they are unable to start the appserver.
The Progress support team claim that this fault has been rectified and are
unable to offer any assistance. The error appears to be related to the _exit
function. Are there any known problems? Progress are running V5.1 (rev 1885)
and we are on V5.1 (rev 732)
According to the man page on both machines, there has been no change for
"_exit()"
Please check with Compaq support if there has been a known issue with
"_exit()" or any changes between versions "OSF1 V5.1 732" and "OSF1 V5.1
1885" .
