Dear System Managers,
I'm again asking for your help about CAA !

On my TruCluster 5.1A (an ES40 and an AS4100) I was running CAA
without any problem until I applied the first 5.1A patch.
>From then I cannot use CAA anymore since each time I start any caa
application (using caa_start)

I get the following messages: ('named' is here an example)

Attempting to start `named` on member `XXXXXXXX`
`named` on member `XXXXXXXXX` has experienced an unrecoverable failure.
Human intervention required to resume its availability.
        Could not start resource named.

(where, of course, XXXXXXXXX is my hostname)

and a caad core file is dumped in

         /var/cluster/caa/$HOST/core

The application is still running on the member it was started on, but caa
is not any more able to manage it since the application is now in the
UNKNOWN State:

        caa_stat -t
        Name Type Target State Host
        ------------------------------------------------------------
        apache application ONLINE UNKNOWN XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
        mysql application ONLINE UNKNOWN XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
        named application ONLINE UNKNOWN XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Not any caa_* command works anymore on the applications in UNKNOWN
State. The only way to clean up the situation is to

caa_stop -f apache (OR ANY OTHER APPLICATION)
        caa_unregister apache
        caa_register apache

but, again, I'm not able to let ANY CAA APPLICATIONS run !!!

Of course I unregistered any application, deleted the caa database
/var/cluster/caa/registry/caa.reg , shutted down the cluster, rebooted
the cluster, registered back the applications, but nothing changes:
Applications soon become in the UNKNOWN State.

Could you please help me?

Thank you very much from Italy,
Emanuele
