SSH and tcpwrappers

Hi,

I am trying to run configure on a Tru64 V5.1 PK3 cluster (Alpha ES40)
If I run configure with no argument, everything works fine, make and make
install run successfully and I can connect with my ssh client.

If I try to run configure to include support for tcpwrappers, configure
fails as below. I have tried moving the tcpd.h file, finally moving into the
current directory. No matter what, configure fails. Can you help, explain?
TIA

# ./configure --with-libwrap=./tcpd.h
loading cache ./config.cache
checking distribution consistency... done
checking host system type... alphaev67-dec-osf5.1
checking target system type... alphaev67-dec-osf5.1
checking build system type... alphaev67-dec-osf5.1
checking cached information... (cached) ok
checking for a BSD compatible install... ./install-sh -c
.....
checking whether to use libwrap... ./tcpd.h
checking for tcpd.h... yes
configure: error: Could not find the libwrap library. Did you specify a
valid path

Kind regards
