SUMMARY: Question about mailx

I originally asked on this discussion list about how to get mailx to
respect the -r and -s options because it seems that if the -r parameter is
used, the -s parameter is completely ignored under Tru64 4.0f.

Pat O'brien suggested that this is a bug that's fixed in patch kit 4 or 5.
Since I plan to be on vacation the rest of this week, I am not going to
apply any patch kits to my server prior to leaving town. I will look into
this option upon my return. Thus far though, Pat's suggestion makes the
most sense.

Mandell Degerness responded by saying that after becoming root, you need
to set all of your environment appropriately. Specifically, you need to
set the NAME environment variable and, possibly, the USER environment
variable.

I tried this, but it did not have quite the full effect I need. I am going
to look into this more upon my return from vacation, however, the idea to
patch the system is probably the best path to follow because the system is
not patched and its probably time to change that situation.
